I am a Research Lead focused on Interactive Multimedia Intelligence. Previously, I led research efforts in human-centric generation and perception at ByteDance and Alibaba after graduating from Tsinghua University.
My work in multimedia perception (including recognition, temporal localization, and spatio-temporal detection) has received 7 winner awards in CVPR challenges, was featured in the Stanford 2022 AI Index Report, and was applied in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
My work in multimedia generation explores two complementary directions, with contributions adopted by services serving billions of users across TikTok, CapCut, Douyin, Jianying, Dreamina, VolcEngine, and more. Also, I contributed to ByteDance's Seaweed/SeeDance series of general video generation models.
- Photorealistic Generation: Loopy, CyberHost, and the OmniHuman series, which has been covered by media such as Forbes, ABC, a16z, Wired, Business Insider, VentureBeat, CNR News, Synced and others .
- Practical and Efficient Generation: MobilePortrait, FADA, APT2, InterActHuman, and AlignHuman.
